This is the worst Chinese food ever. The service sucked ass. Couldn't even finish the meal. Then the front corner is set up as their living room. All the baby's toys and the whole family lounging there talking and playing while we ate.

We have lived in BHC for four years and love Chinese food but for some reason never tried China Panda. I guess we just got used to the very mediocre other Chinese restaurants in the area. Well today we stopped by China Panda, you have to park in back. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was, were seated promptly, given clean menus, looked around, the furniture was clean and in good condition, beautiful wood table tops, clean carpet. Roomier and much nicer than it looks driving by at 45 mph. LOL The young Chinese girl that seated us and brought our drinks couldn't have been nicer and our server, though a little hard to understand, couldn't have been more helpful, both were very helpful and were very nice young ladies. We ordered off the "Special Lunch Menu", prices range from $4.95 to $6.55, my wife and I were both very happy with our lunches. We also ordered Spicy Chicken Wings and Pork Fried Rice to go. We haven't been able to find Pork Fried Rice since leaving CA so we are looking forward to diner. We have found a new favorite Chinese restaurant in the tri-state area, clean, wonderful service, very extensive menu, what could be better, China Panda has it all ! ! ! PS, They also have free delivery for orders over $20 and a minimal charge for orders under 20 bucks

Delicious food and great service! The prices are also very reasonable for the portions they offer.

This time I was very disappointed from the start. When opening my menu, two pages stuck together because of a coagulated drop of Sweet & Sour Sauce on the inside. Paper Wrapped Chicken was very good--juicy and cooked just right--but that turned out to be the highlight of our meal. For soup, Diane ordered Three Flavor Sizzling Rice Soup, which is listed as containing scallops, chicken, shrimp, and crab meat as the protein. Instead, she received an order that did not include one piece of chicken or even one shrimp. The scallops were very small, the crab meat imitation crab flakes, and instead of shrimp some pieces of white, bumpy, and rubbery squid. I opted for Hot & Sour Soup, thank goodness, which at least had all its normal parts in place and was good but rather tame, bland, and unremarkable. Our server came around to ask if all was well, and Diane told her about the missing chicken and shrimp. She apologized and agreed to make a new batch. When it arrived, this rendition contained plenty of chicken, two medium-sized shrimp, one scallop, a few pieces of crab, and no squid. But it shouldn't require remedial action in the kitchen to include ingredients that are expressly listed on the menu. Diane liked her Cashew Shrimp with Brown Sauce, which was a smaller entree than my Kung Pao Three Flavors (chicken, beef, & shrimp) and Chicken Chop Suey. But the vegetables in my two dishes were all pretty hard: pieces of celery and big carrot cubes in the Kung Pao assortment, and zucchini, broccoli, snow peas, and carrot slices in the Chop Suey. Only the baby corn and mushrooms were soft. One piece of chicken was mostly gristle but the rest were okay. Button Mushrooms were small, and except for the presence of peanuts in the Kung Pao Three Flavors, it was hard to tell the two entrees apart. This time I thought the food overall was just mediocre. I don't know whether I'll return or not. But with the dearth of Chinese eateries in this tri-state crossroads of Southern Nevada, I probably will give China Panda one more try, next time ordering old standbys like Beef with Snow Peas, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Chow Mein, and Honey Walnut Shrimp.

A+ in customer service, the food was fantastic. A coworker and I both ordered their lunch special and it was delivered within 5 to 10 minutes to our table. The only downfall is parking in the rear of the building is sometimes A pain in the neck during lunch hour but still gave them five stars

Based upon the ratings in Yelp & TripAdvisor we decided to try the China Panda. We got there about 8:00 pm on a Monday night. Our first clue should have been the lack of patrons (2 couples and a trio), especially for the #3 rated restaurant in Bullhead City. The atmosphere is lacking, even for Chinese place in the desert. Mostly barren walls and worn Formica topped tables. The menu seemed extensive though, and the prices were reasonable. We ordered a #2 family dinner ($10.95 ea.). My selection was the beef & broccoli. I noticed that they also had a shrimp & broccoli as an entree for $2 more, so when the server finally arrived I asked if I could substitute it and pay the difference. I received a stern NO! The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time w/ the soup first. I thought it OK (after adding soy sauce) but my fife thought it bland. Then came the finger food that accompany the `family style' dinner. In a word... GREASY. On to the entrees... One bite and I knew I would not be able to finish mine. I asked my wife what she thought about her selection and she immediately replied 'awful'! We tried to `doctor' them up w some of the sauces and mustard, but you can't make bad food good, especially when it's not only bad, but salty bad as well. When our server arrived and asked if we would like what we didn't finish (which was most everything) package `to go' we replied `certainly not'! We told her about the bland flavor and over-the-top saltiness, she replied "desert people like a lot of salt". If the China Panda is considered a `top' restaurant in Bullhead City, I feel sorry for the residents and would be very leery of those of a lesser rating

Was in Laughlin, NV for 3 days in early June and looking for an authentic chinese restaurant. Found China Panda as the top restaurant on Yelp, and I was definitely not disappointed. Restaurant is not fancy, but the food was great and the staff was very friendly. Had a very nice conversation with long time waitress Katherine. As stated earlier, food is authentic chinese food with great old fashioned flavor, comparable to any top restaurant in San Francisco or Los Angeles. I'll definitely be back on my trips to the River.

I hate when restaurants do not stick to their hours of operation. Today they claim open until 9 pm. I ordered online at 7 pm and now a half hour later i get a email from beyond menu cancelling my order. When i call them they said the restautant closed early.Way to service your customers take their orders and do not let them know for a half hour they closed early. This is the 3rd time they have closed early ,Not to mention there has also been two times they never opened on regular buisness days.So very unreliable. You can never tell when they will be open or closed.

Ugh they raised their prices, give tasteless food and less portions. I don't know if they changed owners or something but it has certainly gone down hill. I don't think we will ever eat there again. We got it delivered. I think that was our first mistake. The egg rolls are like mini egg rolls now and they still charge the same as if they were regular size. I had beef with mixed veggies--it's almost a $9 meal and it came in a mini box that was bland as hell. I even tried to throw some soy sauce in it but the soy sauce hardly had any bang to it either. Ugh over all ICK. Unsatisfied and won't be going back!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
